UETDRMP018 - Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel
Course Overview
This nationally recognised Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) course provides electrical workers with the skills and knowledge required to safely perform a rescue from live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus in an electrical industry environment. The training applies to live LV panels only - it does not include overhead lines or underground cables. It covers organisational workplace requirements, industry-standard PPE, rescue equipment, safe approach distances, and rescue procedures carried out under network operator conditions. You'll learn to identify site-specific hazards, follow isolation and emergency response procedures, remove a casualty safely from a live LV panel, and provide immediate first aid until medical assistance arrives. CPR must be completed with or prior to this course.

Entry Requirements
- Evidence of current and valid HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (which includes CPR) or HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Statement of Attainment prior to commencing this training
- An official form of photo identification (e.g. driver's licence, passport, or student ID)
- Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills including CPR
- Language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills across learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy
Certificate
Your nationally recognised digital Statement of Attainment is issued upon successful completion, typically within 24 hours via email.
Renewal
Low Voltage Rescue certification has an industry-recommended renewal period of 12 months, in line with workplace and network operator requirements.
